School Admissions Information for 2008-2009 School Year

Enrollment Procedures
A completed application along with the $50.00 application fee must be submitted for consideration to the school. Upon review of your application, a meeting will be scheduled with the Head of School. The school provides opportunities for visiting the classroom and shadowing the students for all or part of a regular school day.

Once you have decided to commit to enrolling your child, you will fill out and submit a Registration Form along with applicable fees. You will then need to make an appointment to sign your contract and complete all necessary paperwork.

Tuition Information
St. Stephen’s has a limited number of scholarships available to help with tuition assistance. Applications may be filled out and sent in for review.

• A 10% reduction in tuition is offered for military families.

• A 10% reduction in tuition is offered for Grace Parishioners.

• Other possible financial assistance may be available. Please see Christianna Fogler, Head of School, for more information on these programs.

Application Fee $50 Non-refundable, one-time fee due when application is submitted.
Registration Fee $375 Due with completed application, this fee is required each year. A portion of this fee will be applied to your first months tuition after a contract is signed.

Finance Options Financing is available.
Tuition Insurance Fee 2.75% of total tuition. Tuition insurance is mandatory for tuition accounts not paid in full by June 1st, 2008.
Tuition Reduction for Additional Siblings 10% tuition reduction for a 2nd child, 15% reduction for each sibling thereafter.
Tuition Reduction for Grace Church Parishioners 10% tuition reduction for Grace Church Parishioners families in good standing.
Tuition Reduction for
Military families
 10% tuition reduction for any active Military
personnel.

11:30 a.m. – 3:15 p.m. $ 13.00

3:15 p.m. - 5:45 p.m. $ 9.00
Weekly Fees

7:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. $ 19.00

11:30 a.m. - 3:15 p.m. $ 62.00

11:30 a.m. - 5:45 p.m. $104.00

3:15 p.m. - 5:45 p.m. $ 43.00

Fees will be charged either on a weekly or daily basis as follows:

1. 1. Any portion or a segment of a day will be charged at the full rate. Even
if a child attends extended care for 15 minutes, the full rate for that period of
the day will be applied. For example: If a child attends one day of extended
care from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., the charge will be $13.00. If a child attends one day of extended care from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., the charge will be $22.00. If the student attends a full week, even with partial days, the weekly rate will be charged.

2. In an effort to minimize extended care costs to parents, if your child attends any 5 days of extended care in a calendar month, you will qualify for the weekly rate. For example: If a child attends 5 non-consecutive days of extended care between January 1 and January 31 from 3:15 to 5:45, the charge will be $43.00; if the times are from 11:30 to 5:45, the charges will be $104.00.
